Terms governing use of this site.
About these terms
This page sets out the terms on which Inverisla Ltd ("we", "us", "Inverisla") makes inverisla.com available. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
These terms cover use of the website only. They don't cover any consulting, advisory, or implementation engagement Inverisla may enter into with you — those engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.
Who we are
Inverisla Ltd is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC888874). You can contact us at hello@inverisla.com.
What this site is for
This site exists to describe what Inverisla does, to publish thinking about hospitality technology and AI, and to give people a way to get in touch about potential work. It is informational. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice — legal, financial, technical, or otherwise — and you should not act on it as if it did.
The articles linked from this site (including content on LinkedIn) reflect the views of the author at the time of publication. They are general commentary, not specific advice tailored to your situation. If you want advice that applies to your business, that's what the contact form is for.
Accuracy and availability
We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee it. The hospitality technology landscape changes quickly and some of what's written here will inevitably be out of date by the time you read it. Treat published content as a starting point for your own thinking, not a final answer.
We also don't guarantee that the site will always be available, free of errors, or free of interruption. Hosting issues, maintenance windows, and the realities of running infrastructure mean occasional downtime happens. We aim for it to be rare.
Your responsibilities
When you use this site, you agree:
- Not to misuse the contact form (no abusive content, no spam, no automated submissions, no use of the form to communicate anything illegal)
- Not to attempt to access parts of the site or its underlying infrastructure that aren't intended for public use
- Not to use information from the site to impersonate Inverisla or its work
Intellectual property
The content of this site — including written copy, design, and visual identity — is owned by Inverisla Ltd or its licensors. You can read it, share links to it, and reference it for non-commercial discussion. You can't reproduce substantial sections of it commercially or claim it as your own.
Where the site links to articles, posts, or content hosted elsewhere (such as LinkedIn), those linked items remain governed by the terms of the platform they're hosted on.
Third-party services
This site uses third-party services to function: Cloudflare for hosting and contact form handling, Cal.com for booking calls, Google for email delivery, and LinkedIn for content distribution. When you interact with any of these (for example, by clicking a LinkedIn link or booking via Cal.com), you're subject to their terms in addition to ours. We're not responsible for how those third parties handle your interaction with their services.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Inverisla Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. This includes any indirect, consequential, or business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a material way, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. The version on the site at the time you use it is the one that applies. If you've actively engaged us under a separate agreement, those agreement terms take precedence over these site terms in any conflict.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law. Any dispute arising from your use of this site falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
